i've definately piled on a few pounds over the weekend, the food at Bestival was excellent. With so many amazing companies serving a wide range of food from morrocon to indian, spanish, italian... the list goes on at reasonable prices, open until the wee morning hours. I found some delicious companies such as:
Strumpets with Crumpets- I love crumpets so so much, this was pure heaven to me... pretty much anything on a crumpet! With a sunday roast special ..thinly sliced beef with horseradish, spinach and crushed black pepper oooohhh!
Pieminister- i found a new love for pies this weekend! and i couldn't help but fall for the cute packaging and branding, it definately got me! please please please treat yourself and buy a pie online.
'pieminister wins the award for both best food and best pun of the weekend' The Independant on Sunday
The Hurly Burly- the big burly breakfast definately tantilised my tastebuds and got me well prepared for a long day of festivalling! serving breakfast, lunch, dinner, high tea and midnight feasts within a solar powered tent with a cinema and stage performances.
'The Hurly Burly has a commitment to sustainable development and environmental awareness. Last year we won the Greenpeace Gold Award at Glastonbury Festival for our efforts to minimise our environmental impact.'
Good, tasty, nutricious food is a must at festivals to keep you burning bright over a fun packed weekend and Bestival defiantely exceeded my expectations.
